The recently extended country cottage removed a small patio and created the need for a much larger area for entertaining. This requirement has been met by the construction of a stone terrace with access to the lawn down broad brick and stone steps and various other changes

To achieve a garden design that looks good all year, careful choice of structure and colour is needed.  Richard Key will plan your garden so that it provides interest and colour all year round.  Although there will always be a high and low season for plants in England, even in the home counties, it is possible with care and experience to construct a garden that looks beautiful and inviting in all seasons.
